Complete your drive system with our high-quality, heated rain sensor. The rain sensor has a capacitive sensor area and therefore reliably detects even very clean rain.
The sensor is glued directly onto your vehicle's roof in the lee of the sunroof and simply needs to be plugged into the control unit. That's it!
No through-holes are needed for the connection cable at the roof window.

The rain sensor Your drive system is enhanced with an automatic weather protection function for the roof window. As soon as rain, snow, or hail is detected, the roof window closes automatically within a few seconds, reliably protecting the interior from moisture ingress.
The capacitive sensor surface reliably detects even very fine or clean rain. This allows the system to react early and prevent water from entering the vehicle.
The sensor has an integrated heater. This is automatically activated when rain is detected and ensures that the sensor dries quickly after the rain. This allows the skylight to be opened again shortly after the rain stops.
In light rain, there is also the option of opening the skylight only enough to allow ventilation without letting water in.
Installation is simple and requires no complicated work. The sensor is glued directly to the vehicle roof in the lee of the sunroof and then simply connected to the control unit. No drilling for the connection cable is necessary.

If your roof window looks like the one in the photo below from the inside, it is the older MIDI HEKI model.
This differs from the current model only in the older inner frame, where the crank is surrounded by an oval cover.
In order to install our drive unit, you will need to shorten the holder for the grey rotary control on the back slightly and screw it onto the oval cover in place of the crank:
