Automatic locking when vehicle starts

For safety and comfort reasons, your sunroof should be closed while driving. You don't even need to run a cable from the cockpit to the sunroof to transmit the ignition signal to the sunroof control unit. We transmit the signal wirelessly! Simply connect the small electronic unit with its two cables to the back of your cigarette lighter socket. And your sunroof will close automatically when you turn the ignition key.

Description

With the function Automatic locking when vehicle starts Your roof window ensures maximum safety at all times while driving. As soon as the ignition is switched on, the roof window closes automatically.

The vehicle ignition signal is not transmitted to the sunroof via a cable, but conveniently wirelessly. The small electronic unit is simply connected to the back of the cigarette lighter socket using two wires. As soon as the ignition key is turned, the circuit board sends a signal to the sunroof's control unit, and the sunroof closes automatically.

Installation is quick and easy, typically taking only about 15 minutes. This ensures that the sunroof closes reliably when you start the vehicle, without you having to think about it.

Note on installing the drive kit in the older MIDI HEKI

In order to install our drive unit, you will need to shorten the holder for the grey rotary control on the back slightly and screw it onto the oval cover in place of the crank:
